Amazon.com announces that November was the best sales month for the Kindle e-reader thus far. The announcement comes as Sony and Barnes Noble are struggling to get their e-readers, the Daily Edition and the Nook, onto shelves for holiday shoppers.

Amazon, Wal-Mart Led Online Shopping on Black Friday, Says Report

Amazon.com, Wal-Mart, Target, Apple and Best Buy led online shopping sales on Black Friday, the traditional kickoff to the holiday shopping season, says research company ComScore. Despite an increase in Black Friday online sales over 2008, analysts are concerned that recession-conscious holiday shoppers continue to be reluctant to shop. Govt drops oil bomb


ISLAMABAD – Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) came up with increase of over seven per cent increase in petroleum products on last day of Eidul Azha with petrol price jumping from Rs. 61.63 per litre to Rs. 66 per litre showing an increase of 7.1 per cent. The notification of petroleum prices increase was issued here by ORGA here on Monday.
According to details issued in OGRA notification, per litre price of high octane has been increased from Rs 75.59 to Rs 80.59 showing an increase of 6.5 per cent while the price of light diesel went from Rs 54.97 to 60.22 showing the increase of 9.6 per cent.
The price of kerosene oil has been increased from Rs 57.87 to Rs 62.63. The new prices became effective from early hours of today (Tuesday).
