DMG has started Super Coffeemix Manufacturing (S10.SG) at “buy” with $1.10 target price, pegged at 8-year historical average P/E of 11.3x FY10 earnings, according to Dow Jones.

Yangzijiang target raised to $1.55, outperform by CLSA

CLSA has raised Yangzijiang’s (BS6.SG) target price to $1.55 from $1.44, based on 11.5x P/E, after increasing FY10–12 earnings forecasts by 9–17% to assume increased orders, according to Dow Jones.

French FM: Belgrade, Priština should talk

French Foreign Minister Bernard Kouchner says “Serbia’s EUintegration is not conditioned by recognizing Kosovo”. He called on the two sides to have a dialog, underscoring that he had never advised Belgrade not to appeal to the International Court in The Hague.

“IMF satisfied with pension reforms”

Unless the economy recovers, wages and pensions will remain frozen until 2011, Deputy Prime Minister Jovan Krkobabić told B92. Increase in salaries in the public sector and pensions before 2011 would be considered only if the economy improved, along with higher employment GDP figures, he explained.

Deal on Greece aid appears imminent

Tensions caused by the Greek debt crisis appear to be easing following assurances by EU officials that an agreement on aid will be reached in a matter of days. Global markets have been in turmoil as the debt crisis threatened to spread to other countries. But consensus that the relief package will be larger than originally expected is helping to shore up confidence in the euro, which has fallen precipitously in recent days.

Belgium votes to ban burqa

In a near-unanimous vote on Thursday, Belgium’s lower house of parliament voted to ban the burqa. The move could make the country the first in Europe to outlaw the practice.

Draft condemning crimes against Serbs

The Serbian parliament has drafted a declaration condemning crimes committed against Serbs committed in the former Yugoslavia. The draft “strongly condemns the crimes against Serbian nationals and all Serbs during the armed conflicts in Croatia, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Kosovo and Metohija, and the 1999 NATO bombing campaign”.

Incidents in northern Kosovo

A mobile telephony transmitter was targeted in a neighborhood of the town of Zubin Potok in northern Kosovo by unknown perpetrators this morning.

This came after two incidents occurred in the north of the province late on Wednesday.
