A New NetFront Browser for Windows Mobile?

There was a time when a browser called NetFront was one of the popular alternate browsers for Windows Mobile and Pocket PC devices. Since then, the alternate browser from Opera has gained in popularity to take over NetFront’s place. But now it seems that NetFront is trying to get back in the action. Just recently, NetFront released a beta version of NetFront 3.5 for Windows Mobile. This browser claims to offer improved CPU usage, faster page rendering, faster page zooming, and faster switching between landscape and portrait modes. Unfortunately, the beta expires on August 31st, so if you want to try it out, you’ll have to do so sometime this summer before it’s gone. (via DownloadSquad)
