Leave Demi Alone!

Demi Moore has hit back at some of her Twitter followers after they called her “old” and accused her of appearing in photoshopped fashion photos. The 47-year-old Ghost actressm, an avid Twitter user, took some heat from fair-weather Twit-Pickers online Wednesday after sharing an outtake from her recent Harper’s Bazaar photoshoot.

How dare they drag Ghost into this! BTW, Demi looks fab, thank you very much……

Last month, Moore also took to the micro-blogging site to defend herself against accusations that the December 2009 cover of W Magazine that she appears on had been heavily photoshopped.

“I don’t have any hips!” she Tweeted at the time. “I love the pic and can only say I wish I had good lighting like that following me around all day.”

The airbrushing controversy still hits a sore spot with many fans.

“Had the priviledge [sic] of working with a giraffe yesterday he was beautiful gentle and so amazing!” Demi Tweeted this week. In one photo, the still-stnning star is shown wearing boots with a brown coat covering her dress as she stands next to the giraffe on the beach.

One fan sniped, “sorrydemi that your self esteem is so low you can’t admit to a little Photoshopping,” then added, “And Ghost sucked.”

Demi responded with a simple, “Thank you.”

A few hours later, another Twitterer wrote, “sorry but you look old. specially your neck & cheecks..”

“I’m 47 how am I supposed to look?” Demi responded.

Demi’s responses sparked a rush of comments — mostly positive, but some negative.

“You’re almost 50 – it’s photoshopped. Don’t lie and just man up,” wrote one naysayer.

“Ghost was awsome! And your awsome!” said a Demi supporter.

“I think you’ve become MORE beautiful,” wrote another.

“Don’t listen to the haters. You look fabulous!” one fan wrote.
