The cast of designers competing on the seventh season of Project Runway have been revealed!
The fashion competition, hosted by German catwalk maven Heidi Klum, will see the judges and designers returning to New York City, the home of the show for the first five seasons. Heidi will be joined by judges Nina Garcia and Michael Kors, as well mentor Tim Gunn, who will guide the 16 hopefuls through the city as they battle it out for the chance to showcase their collections in Manhattan’s Bryant Park during The Big Apple’s annual Fashion Week.
The winning designer will compete for a $100,000 prize, a feature in Marie Claire Magazine, the opportunity to sell their designs online at Bluefly.com, and a $50,000 HP and Intel technology suite.
Season seven of the hit reality series premieres January 14, 2010, @ 10 PM EST on Lifetime. Also returning to the tube next month is season two of Models of the Runway, where 16 aspiring models paired with the designers will compete for $25,000.
