A study conducted by Crowd Science and released this weak, revealed that 39 percent of people who are the owners of BlackBerry would switch to an iPhone in case they had to buy a new mobile, while 29 percent were unsure about the iPhone and 31 percent refused to purchase Apple’s handset.
It turned out that 92 percent of the iPhone owners are satisfied with their purchase and said that their next smartphone would be the iPhone.
Moreover, those who have Google Android mobile were satisfied with the operating system. About 87 percent said that they would purchase another Android phone. But still 34 percent of BlackBerry owners would buy an Android phone in case of emergency.
Furthermore, the study showed that 97 percent of iPhone would advice their friends to purchase the Phone while 52 percent of BlackBerry owners as well as 51 percent of other smartphone users would advice to buy the iPhone to others.
The study was conducted with the help of the Crowd Science Sample Beta program. In the whole 44 percent were users of a traditional handset. The amount of iPhone users was 17 percent, while BlackBerry users totaled 15 percent, Nokia 10 percent, Windows Mobile 4 percent, Android 3 percent and Palm 2 percent.
