HTC is all set to defend itself legally after Apple banged 20 patent infringement lawsuits on the company. HTC has sent an official statement showing its discrepancy to the Apple’s actions. Thus HTC will fight legally for all the accusations made on it.
Jason Mackenzie, the vice president of sales and marketing of HTC America said,” We strongly disagree with Apple’s (AAPL – news – people) actions and plan to use all the legal tools available to defend ourselves.†He also added, “HTC has always taken a partnership-oriented, collaborative approach to business. This has led to long-standing strategic partnerships with the top software, Internet and wireless technology companies in the industry as well as the top U.S., European and Asian mobile operators.”
HTC is going to take pure advantage of Google’s support that it has shown opposing Apple’s allegation. This is the Apple’s indirect attack to the developing Android-HTC partnership.
HTC has made sure that this legal fight won’t be disturbing any operations or mobile handset businesses. However HTC hasn’t given any hints about suing Apple but Mackenzie’s legal approach will surely take some action against the act.
