Police began a house-to-house search in northern Afghanistan on Sunday for five local United Nations staff who were abducted by suspected Taliban.

The five employees were kidnapped near Pulikhomri, the capital city for northern province of Baghlan, on Thursday and then taken to Dahana Ghori district.
