Jenson Button, one of the most popular and the hottest drivers today, has recently won the Formula One World Championship. But people are hoping that he still have a space left for one more trophy on his display room.

During the latest Laureus World Sports Awards hosted in Abu Dhabi, Jenson Button received the Breakthrough of the Year award.

With him at the event is another hot and stunning face in the world of modeling. Jessice Michibata, the Japanese lingerie model, was with Button at the star-studded event. Jenson was very much surprised and can’t still believe that he got the said award.

He even joked that the Laureus World Sports Awards forgot that he is already 30 years old and old enough to be the breakthrough sportsman. Jenson Button was at the Middle East not only for the event but he would also defend the championship title this coming Sunday in Bahrain.

The driver was very thankful for his past year. His life was very special during 2009 as he started the racing season. He didn’t even expect that he would be part of the Formula One but it happened, more so getting the title. That’s why he considered it to be the most memorable experience for him.
