A new ethnic Albanian political party, to be active in the southern municipalities of Preševo, Medveđa and Bujanovac, has been established.

The party is called the Democratic Union of Albanians (DUA), and was formed when a Bujanovac party with the same name, led by Mejdi Zeciri, merged with Ramiz Zulfiju Citizen Group from Preševo, and the Party for Democratic Integration, headed by Redzep Abazi, from Medveđa.
