According to recent news, 29-year-old Alicia Keys got an engaging ring as a present for her birthday. Moreover, the songstress is expecting a child.  The father of a child is a boyfriend and producer of Alicia, Swizz Beats.

Actually, they have been together since autumn of 2008. The couple is thinking to have a private ceremony that is expected to happen later this year.

As a matter of fact, it will be the first child for a singer and as for Swizz, whose real name is Kasseem Dean, it will be a third child. Actually, 31-year-old Swizz has already 2 sons that are from previous relationships.

According to a friend of the couple, they are really happy. The couple was spotted on Thursday night at Keep A Child Alive Black Ball that was held in Smith Square of London.

It looks like that 2010 is the year of Alicia Keys as the happy news appeared on the heels of the signer’s professional accomplishments. Her music can be heard in the new film, such as Sex and the City 2.

Although she is preparing to become a bride, still she is busy with her tour in Europe. Also it is planned to go to South Africa in order to perform at  the World Cup which will be held on June 10.
