Have you ever wanted to create your own Apps for your Google Android? Well, the guys at Google are now offering you the ability to do so, with their new gizmo dubbed – App Inventor.
Google’s App Inventor promises users to be able to create just about any app you can imagine, from simple games to more advanced creations that can take advantage of the phone’s sensors.
Of course, apps do not consist merely of games – users will be able to create anything, from informational and educating apps to creations which benefit day to day life.
The best thing about Google’s App Inventor is that you do not need to be an experienced programmer or developer – no knowledge of coding is required. This is all thanks to the visual-design process of App Inventor, as users simply design the visual look of the app and use blocks which specify the behaviour of the app.
For the more experienced developers out there, fret not – for Google Apps Inventor also allows you to build databases and store information within them, perform actions under certain pre-set conditions as well as offering blocks that carry out “programming-like stuffâ€. They have even included access to a GPS-location sensor for building apps that utilize the service.
Whatever type of app you’re interested in, we definitely recommend having a quick go on the App Inventor and trying your hand at creating your own.
