The Department of Justice is reportedly targeting Verizon and AT T for an antitrust investigation over exclusive handset deals such as AT T’s arrangement with Apple’s iPhone. The reported DOJ probe follows congressional inquiries into the exclusive deals and calls from both President Obama and new FCC Chairman Julius Genachowski for open wireless networks.
