Bharti Airtel Ltd. has reached at a deal with Apple Inc. for selling the iPhone 3GS in India in the upcoming months.
Bharti Airtel is India’s largest mobile phone operator by the users that has submitted its bid for participating in bandwidth auction to get the third generation, 3G mobile services.
The bidders who would achieve success would be permitted to provide 3G services commercially from Sept. 1, 2010.
This high-speed service on the 3G bandwidth is going to offer the Indian telecom companies a chance to attract the big premiums for the multimedia capabilities in domestic market that is already over flown with rough competition with minor margins.
