Britain should apologize to the wartime member of Bosnia’s presidency for mistreatment in prison, Chairman of the Bosnian Presidency Haris Silajdžić says.
Silajdžić said that Ejup Ganić was denied basic human rights while detained, and that he was shocked by Ganić’s claims he was denied access to consular assistance, to a telephone, and to his medicine for three days while he was detained in prison, the BBC reports.
