The Amazing Race’s weekend finale was made a bit more memorable by CBS’ random holiday public service announcements for pap smears.

Actor Chris Beetem stars on CBS’ holiday spots which suggest that men buy their wives a “special” holiday gift – a pap smear. “Want to do something special for your woman this Hanukah?” says actor Josh Pais in another. “Schedule her Pap smear. Just a schmear could save her life.”

The ad spots — though potentially life-saving — sure have people talking. Whatever happened to just giving people socks?
