On Monday, Sarah Jessica Parker honored the British designer at the CFDA Fashion Awards in New York.

The actress was spotted in a flowing and patterned gown of Alexander McQueen’s pre-autumn 2010 collection. It was like a special tribute to Alexander who died in February.

According to Sarah, Alexander made a breathtaking work and it was always interesting to see what he would do next.
Models introduced the final collection of McQueen. It was a series of dramatic looks dedicated for autumn-winter 2010-2011.
But one should say that Sara was not the only one who acknowledges a friend in the world of fashion.

Gwyneth Paltrow was invited by US designer Michael Kors who got a lifetime achievement award. He was awarded by Anna Wintour, the editor of Vogue.

The star of Iron Man 2 was a gorgeous model of Michael who was wearing one-shoulder black gown that was from his collection.

Among other guest one could see model Iman and her husband. She was seen in the gown of Giambattista Valli who was recognized as the Fashion Icon of this year.

As for Rachel Weisz, who is considered to be another leading lady of Hollywood arrived with Jason Wu, who is famous for creating a stunning inauguration ball gown for Michelle Obama.
