Florida Department of Children and Families paid a visit to Tiger Woods’ suburban Orlando home, according to a scoop from RadarOnline.com.
Sources tell the website that DCF officials were escorted by the Orange County Sheriff’s Department to the pro golfer’s home on Saturday afternoon. The visit seems to stem from the events leading up to Tiger’s bizarre one-car crash in the early morning hours of Nov. 27. Reports from that incident indicated there was a heated altercation between Tiger and wife Elin over his serial cheating, which allegedly led to the demure Swede chasing her hubby from the couple’s Windemere, Florida mansion with a golf club.
The sheriff’s department has released the following statement about the weekend visit from Child Protective Services: “On Friday afternoon the Orange County Sheriff’s Office responded to a call for assistance from an investigator with the Department of Children and Family Services. The deputy responding was to meet with the DCF investigator at the front entrance of the Isleworth community, located in the unincorporated area of west Orange County. The Orange County Sheriff’s Office is not at liberty to discuss the reason for the visit, who was being contacted, nor the details of the complaint received by DCF. DCF is the agency responsible for the visit and no report or documentation was generated by this office, any information regarding the case should be directed to them, it is a common occurrence for DCF to request assistance from a law enforcement agency.”
The Woods have two children; daughter Sam, 2, and son Charlie, 10 mos.
