China Lifestyle Food and Beverages Group says it expects to report lower net profit for the third quarter ended Sept 30, 2009 compared to the corresponding period last year.
The group says it will be make an allowance for the impairment of obsolete inventories to net realisable value as the result of the new food safety law implemented by the China government.
Further details of the group’s results will be disclosed when the company finalises and announces its unaudited financial results for the third quarter ended Sept 30, 2009.
