Font size:

Intel has launched a set of SFP+ pluggable 10 Gigabit Ethernet server adapters that allow customers to mix and match Intel® Ethernet SFP+ optic modules for various network distances. The new Intel® Ethernet X520 Server Adapters feature advanced technologies that help reduce network I/O bottlenecks in virtualized servers. These new dual- and single-port server adapters also simplify network infrastructure and reduce hardware needs by allowing both LAN and storage traffic to travel over Ethernet. You can learn more about these new adapters on the Server Room Blog and here.
