At the recent 2010 Consumer Electronics Show, Intel discussed a series of chips and initiatives aimed at the Consumer Electronics (CE) space. Intel hopes its Intel® CE4100 media processor will help drive a shift in traditional television viewing, as TVs increasingly become smarter and connected to the Internet. Intel VP Eric Kim also touches on other initiatives aimed at advancing wireless display, 3-D graphics, home energy management and new applications (Intel AppUp Store) for netbooks.
