Wireless carrier VMAX recently announced the first commercial WiMAX network in Taipei, the largest metropolitan city in Taiwan and an embedded WiMAX Acer laptop bundle. As part of the launch, Intel announced that all new 2010 Intel® Core™ processor laptops featuring the Intel® Centrino® Advanced-N + WiMAX 6250 solution are certified on the VMAX WiMAX network. This represents another step forward in delivering embedded WiMAX solutions for high-speed mobile devices around the world.
