It became known that Digg is going to release a completely new version of its service that is considered to be faster, it also comes with Instant Digging as well as instant submission.

The company announced its intentions at its annual South by Southwest Interactive part that was held last Saturday.

CEO Jay Adelson introduced the popular headline aggregation system. In fact it will be available with new features, i.e. each keyword will be able to have its own category, submissions will be based on a one-click process. The Digg’s home pages will include the content that is interesting for their users.

Also Adelson said that the service is on the way to return its leader boards and is moving to an infrastructure that, in fact, will be very fast. Due to the one-click submission process, the site will be able to manage 20,000 submissions a day to millions a day. Adelson added in case a user wants to include his content to the site, it is possible to do that with the help of a single click.

Moreover, some words were said about the way users could personalize their home pages. At present you are not able to take advantage of the Digg 2.0 is it is not available at the moment. But also nothing had been said about the date release of the new service.
