David Hasselhoff may have been dropped from America’’s Got Talent over alcohol issues.

According to sources, advertisers were concerned about his image.

It is alleged that the Baywatch star visited a rehab in October after thumping a doctor following a wild bender.

Also, during TV mogul Cowell’’s 50th birthday party, he was apparently taken out from the backdoor, after he got too drunk and used abusive language.

“This has built up for some time. David has been in the papers a lot for his drunken behavior and he doesn”t seem to want to clean up his act,’ News.com.au quoted a source as saying.

The insider added: “He was absolutely devastated at the news. The show provided the majority of his income.”

Hasselhoff shared the judges’ seat with Sharon Osbourne and UK television personality Piers Morgan.
