Councilors from the opposition DSS- NS coalition in the Belgrade City Assembly have submitted a motion to dismiss Mayor Dragan Đilas.

They said that the move came because of Đilas’ responsibility for material damage worth EUR 3mn, incurred by the felling of hundreds of plane trees from the city’s Kralja Aleksandra Blvd.
