Eva Longoria Parker is going back to school to help other Hispanics.
Eva — a Mexican-American — is getting in touch with her roots by enrolling at California State University Northridge, where she’s seeking a Master’s Degree in Chicano Studies and Political Science.
“Because of my involvement with the National Council of La Raza (civil rights group) and my charity work, I really wanted a better, more authentic understanding of what my community has gone through so I can help create change,” the star of the ABC dramedy Desperate Housewives revealed in an interview with TV Guide this week.
Eva is already a graduate of Texas A&M University, where she earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Kinesiology.
