The Robert Half Technology annual salary guide is now out. Today, well list out a few of the IT job titles most affected by declining wages by national average. Vorex is combining a Web-based suite of solutions aimed at streamlining the HR operations of budget-conscious businesses. The solution, backed by Vorexs live support based in Dallas, includes hardware and software upgrades and maintenance and is available for a free trial via the companys Website. Samsung and The New York Times have teamed to offer Times readers a deal on the Samsung Go netbook. The Times’ offer is available only to new subscribers to the Times Reader 2.0 and will be available through March 2010. A Dell employee has gotten Chromium OS, the code behind Chrome OS that Google released to open source Nov. 21, to run on a Dell Mini 10v netbook. Despite numerous protests that a phone created and sold by Google would upset wireless carriers, Times Online reports that Google in 2010 will launch an advanced smartphone with a larger-than-usual touch screen and a speedy Qualcomm processor that trumps the one powering the iPhone 3GS.
