You probably recall that pic that turned up last week showing the iPad with an iPhone along for size comparison. Reports are now coming in that the iPhone in the pics is none other than the long rumored 4th generation device.

That VeriFone PAYware iPhone credit card system that turned up a while back is now officially shipping. The app part of the system is free and the hardware card reader can be purchased at VeriFone dealers.

AppleInsider reports that despite booming sales for the last quarter on iPhones, the device still lost a bit of market share. The reason is that the entire smartphone market saw some impressive growth.
