google booksGoogle Books, the latest project by Google is being compiled so that it is able to accomplish the mission of becoming the biggest online depository of e-books in the world.
Google has, however, hot-stepped right into yet another privacy concern row while doing so.
“Under its current design, Google Book Search keeps track of what books readers search for and browse, what books they read, and even what they ‘write’ down in the margins”, Google says, while explaining the plan for Google Books thusly.

The American Civil Liberties Union, or the Electronic Frontier Foundation, however, has not been pleased by this. Both of them have been pleading Google for protection of their privacy.

A stringent privacy policy can be the likely result. A blog requesting patience in the matter has already been posted by Google. It ensures the readers that proper safeguards will surely be in place.
