If you are used to the sentence auto-complete feature that’s on most of the new generation cellphones to help in quickly typing text messages, then you might wanna try the same thing while typing emails or filling forms online. A new tool by Google, called Google Scribe, could help you in that.
The tool, which is a part of Google Labs projects, has a clean and simple interface, and works really well. As you start typing a sentence, it shows suggestions in a drop down menu to help you complete the phrase.

While the default option is to show suggestions as you type, you can also change it to show suggestions on pressing the ‘Tab’ key. Pressing the enter key helps you choose a suggestion and esc key would hide it for you.

Here’s how Scribe works according to Google.
Google Scribe provides text completion service. Using information from what you have already typed in a document, Google Scribe provides related word or phrase completion suggestions. In addition to saving keystrokes, Google Scribe’s suggestions indicate correct or popular phrases to use.
There’s another cool thing about this tool. It offers a bookmarklet using which you could auto-complete sentences in your email and online forms/documents. It works in exactly the same way as it does in Scribe’s own editor. You just need to drag the bookmarklet from its homepage to the browser’s bookmark toolbar.

So, do you like this new tool by Google? How well does it work for you?
