The Serbian government has set up the Budget Restitution Fund, its media office announced today in Belgrade.

The fund will finance reparation for former owners and their heirs, stripped of their property by former Yugoslavia’s post-Second World War communist regime, in those cases when returning their assets in the original form is no longer possible.
