A private Guns N’ Roses concert in Brazil erupted in rioting last week after frontman Axl Rose and his fellow rockers pulled out of the A-list event at the last minute.

The “Welcome to the Jungle” stars were set to perform at an exclusive Sao Paulo club event hosted by supermodel Ana Beatriz Barros last Friday night, according to The New York Post. Hundreds of angry fans waited hours for the band to take to the stage, but the revellers turned violent when they were told the band would not play at 3 AM.

“The audience got angry and started to mount the stage, and fight and destroy everything. It was wild. There were fights everywhere, on the dance floor, in the bathrooms, outside the club. Crazy. I guess the free drinks didn’t help,” a frightened witness divulged.

On Wednesday, more than 100 Metallica fans were arrested after rioting erupted outside a concert venue in Bogata, Colombia, forcing the band to hire additional extra security for the remainder of its South American tour.
