Number of Gmail users use their Gmail IDs for transactions on ebay and paypal. Since money is involved, number of bad elements send fake emails pretending to be from ebay or paypal with intention of further harm. Now you can protect your Gmail account from such fake ebay and paypal emails using new feature of verified senders.
Enable Verified Senders feature
1. Login into Gmail & click Settings at top right.
2. Click on Labs tab and scroll down.

3. Click enable next to “Authentication icon for verified senders”.
4. Click on Save changes button at the bottom.
From now on, all genuine emails from paypal and ebay will have authentication icon (as shown in image above). Enable this feature to be safe while using Gmail ID for ebay and paypal transactions.
