Jim Carrey took to his Twitter account to share a blissful bit of family wedding news on Wednesday.

The funnyman announced that his pregnant daughter Jane, 21, married longtime boyfriend Alex Santana in a wedding ceremony over the weekend.

“My Jane is a married woman. Days ago her and my new son in law Alex got hitched. The day was simply perfect… lots of love there,” Carrey Tweeted the following message on Wednesday night.

Alex and Jane, who is the frontwoman of the rock group the Jane Carrey Band, are expecting a son later this year. Jane is Jim’s daughter from his first marriage to Melissa Carrey. The couple divorced in 1995 after nearly 10 years of marriage.
