A pair of fast-talking double dealers were arrested in Michigan last week after allegedly trying to extort money from actor John Stamos.

Allison Coss, 23, and Scott Sippola, 30, were arrested after an undercover FBI agent “posing as a representative” of the former Full House star arranged a money drop with the extortionists, according to an affidavit obtained by The Smoking Gun.

Stamos, 45, referred to as “Mr. X” in the document, reportedly met Coss at a party in Florida in 2004, and has kept in contact with her via e-mail. Last month, the Bye Bye Birdie star received e-mails from a man later identified as Coss’ boyfriend, Sippola. Sippola claimed to have pictures in his possession that “would cause harm to Mr. X’s reputation if released to the media….”

Sippola then demanded Stamos pay him $680,000 for his silence. John called the Feds instead. Coss and Sippola were later arrested and currently out on bail pending trial.
