Whoops – Jennifer Aniston ticked off a lot of people when she used the word “retard” on Live with Regis and Kelly this week — but she’s still cool with Stewart, who surprisingly has quite the past with the blonde bombshell.

Aniston made an appearance on Stewart’s Comedy Central series — The Daily Show — Thursday, and the two reminisced about going out on a date in the mid-90s, shortly after Jennifer started her Emmy-winning stint on television’s Friends.

“You were adorable!” Stewart smiled. “I asked you out, we went out… to an Italian restaurant and it was lovely.”

“Of course I remember that,” Jen replied.

“You brought so many of your friends. I remember thinking, ‘Wow, she’s so excited to be on a date with me that she wants me to get to know her posse,” Jon added.
