A former American Idol is bringing “The Battlefield” to Britney Spears’ Circus Tour.

Idol Season 6 winner Jordin Sparks will join previously announced opening act Kristinia DeBarge as Britney’s special guest on the second North American leg of the tour, according to an announcement on BritneySpears.com Friday.

“Britney’s show is incredible and for me to be a part of it is a great opportunity,” says Jordin, who is singing in support of her sophomore album Battefield, released last month.

Jordin will perform at Britney’s concerts in NYC, L.A., Boston, Philadelphia, Miami, Detroit, and Chicago, before wrapping up her run on September 27 at the Mandalay Bay Events Center in Las Vegas.
