Koh Brothers Group, the construction, property development and specialist engineering solutions provider, today reported a 38% increase in revenue for the nine-month period ended September 30, 2009 (9MFY2009) to $233 million, mainly due to improved contributions from its Construction and Real Estate divisions.
Excluding exceptional gains of $26 million in the previous corresponding period which arose from gain on disposal of Changi Hotel and acquisition of a subsidiary’s shares from a minority interest, net profit attributable to shareholders in 9MFY2009 increased 11-fold or $6.7 million to $7.3 million. There is no exceptional gain in 9MFY2009.
