Lions and Tigers and Gaga — Oh My! Did Lady Gaga pull a Mariah on British TV this week?

Lady Gaga performed her charttopper “Bad Romance” on UK TV talent show The X Factor, surrounded by scantily clad male dancers, on Sunday. However, the usually down-to-earth sensation allegedly astonished music mogul Simon Cowell with a list of demands as peculiar as some of her outfits — including requests for lambs and hundreds of butterflies on stage for her performance.

“Simon wanted her on the show because he knows she will put 110 percent into the performance…..She is always way out there with her costumes and dance routines. But not even he was prepared for what she had in mind,” a set source blabbed to Britain’s The Mirror. “He thought the animals request was a joke but then realized it was Lady Gaga. Simon is an animal lover and wasn’t against having the lambs running around, but he said no because of health and safety.”

The eccentric singer also recently had a request to have lions accompany her to the MTV Video Music Awards turned down.
