LDP leader Čedomir Jovanović said that President Boris Tadić should attend the regional conference planned on being held in Slovenia.

Jovanović encouraged the president to meet with Kosovo leaders Hashim Thaci and Fatmir Sejdiu, stating that it would be a gesture of good will and of a desire to reach a solution for the problem.
