In an interview with PEOPLE Magazine Tuesday, Bristol Palin, the 19-year-old daughter of former GOP VP candidate Sarah Palin, confirmed that she has kicked baby daddy Levi Johnston to the curb for the second time, mere weeks after the pair joined son Tripp on the cover of Us Weekly Magazine with a world exclusive scoop on their secret engagement.

Despite rampant rumors claiming that Levi may have impregnanted another former girlfriend before reconciling with Bristol, the teen mom says it is Levi’s famewhoring — not his penchant for unprotected sex — that sent their relationship to Skid Row after a secret courtship that began in April.

“It’s over. I broke up with him. There’s been no remorse. The final straw was him flying to Hollywood for what he told me was to see some hunting show but come to find out it was that music video mocking my family. He’s just obsessed with the limelight and I got played. Through this whole experience I know I need a man who’s going to be completely honest with me and someone who loves me and Tripp and wants to be with him all the time. I also want someone who has religious beliefs and a good family.”

You know Grandma Sarah is doing cartwheels over the news that Levi won’t be getting his moose-shootin’ paws on her daughter — or her bank account — any time this century.

“I wish for Bristol to be able to move forward in life with her same forgiving, gracious, optimistic spirit, but from henceforth she’ll know to trust but verify. Bristol is strong, she is independent, and she knows what is right for her bank account son.”
