“Make Slavic tongue official EU language”

Slovak Deputy Prime Minister Dušan Čaplovič says that a Slavic language should become one of the EU official languages, beside French and English.

Deputy PM’s Spokesman Michal Kalinak told TASR news agency that Čaplovič had stressed that three major language groups were represented in the EU – Germanic, Romance and Slavic.
