Marni Phillips 911 Call (AUDIO)

Font size:

Entertainment Tonight has obtained the audio from a 911 call made by Marni Phillips — the long-suffering wife of womanizing ESPN analyst and former general manager of the New York Mets Steve Phillips. On the approximately three-minute tape, Marni can be heard frantically alerting an emergency dispatcher that Brooke Hundley, the 22-year-old ESPN production assistant sleeping with her husband, was outside the family’s Connecticut home threatening her.

“Please help. I have a crazy woman who’s involved with my husband and she’s come to my house to harm me and my children,” Marni cries. “She’s crazy. … She has been threatening me via texts and phone calls.”

As if it isn’t bad enough that you’re sleeping with this woman’s husband, then you have the brazen audacity to threaten her life? Marni needs to make a visit to Judge Toler over at Divorce Court. The poor thing is married to an asswhistle.

On Wednesday, ESPN released a statement from Steve regarding the reports of his romantic relationship with a female ESPN employee: “I am deeply sorry that I have put my family and colleagues through this. It is a personal matter that I will not comment on further. I have, however, asked for a leave of absence to address this with my family and to avoid any unnecessary distractions through the balance of the baseball playoffs.”

He is currently on leave of absence from the sports network. This isn’t the first sex scandal for The Phillips; in 1998, the then-Mets General Manager admitted to sleeping with a team employee.
