Someone’s in big trouble, Mister!
Television’s Uncle Jesse can rest a bit easier tonight. On Thursday, a jury convicted a Michigan couple of conspiring to extort $680,000 from actor John Stamos by threatening to sell photos of him with strippers and cocaine to the glossies.

Federal prosecutors say Allison Coss and Scott Sippola demanded the money but didn’t actually have any unflattering photos of the former Full House and ER star.
Coss met Stamos in Florida in 2004 when she was 17. During the court proceedings, the woman’s attorney claimed that John had a fling with her client — then a high school senior.
John, now 46, was accused of buying an alcoholic drink for the girl – even though she told him she was 17 – then stripping off with her in a hot tub. When she refused to have sex with him, he allegedly punched and broke a bedpost in his hotel room. For the next few years the pair apparently maintained a “flirty kind of relationship” by email.
During testimony Tuesday, Stamos admits the period was a depressing one for him — he’d just split from then wife Rebecca Romijin. However, he denied using drugs or having any sexual affair with Coss.
Coss and her boyfriend Sippola will be sentenced on charges of conspiracy and using e-mail to threaten a person’s reputation later this summer. If convicted, they face up to five years behind bars.
An ecstatic John was overjoyed by the conviction. Just check out the statement he issued shortly after the verdict was read:
“I would like to thank the court, the FBI and the US Attorney’s office for their swift and efficient dealings in connection with this case,” Stamos began.
“I am shocked and perplexed how individuals could fabricate so many false stories in an effort to defend a crime. I agreed to be a witness for a federal criminal prosecution and endured countless false accusations about my behavior and appropriateness. The allegations made regarding an inappropriate relationship are completely untrue,” he explained. “These slanderous allegations to smear my reputation were part of their defense to redirect attention away from the federal crime of extortion. There was no hot tub, no drugs, no nudity and nothing sexual in nature involved in my friendship with this woman. They lied about everything from a pregnancy to compromising photos.”
“I’m grateful these two criminals have been found guilty and I plan to go home to be with my family and friends and prepare to get back to work.â€
