MICROSOFT FILES BRIEF IN GOOGLE BOOK SEARCH SETTLEMENT

Microsoft filed a Sept. 8 brief, objecting to the progressively oppose Google Book Search deal. The brief, filed in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York, argues that Googles endeavor to change books would be an anti-competitive ravishment that would alteration Microsoft not exclusive as a publisher, but also its newborn see engine, Bing. Microsoft, character and another companies hit connected the Open Book Alliance in asking the Department of Justice to investigate Googles deal.
