Microsoft has delivered a peek at the next version of its popular web browser, known as Internet Explorer 9 (IE9). The Internet Explorer 9 Platform Preview is the first look at what’s coming in IE next version of the world’s most popular Web browser. Internet Explorer 9 has been designed to help the Web development community create rich, standards-compliant, interoperable Web applications by providing the platform, tools and features they need to build the modern Web. Microsoft has designed this platform preview to deliver on the company’s promise of transparency, and to provide early and frequent access to Internet Explorer 9. IE9 features a new JavaScript engine and hardware-accelerated graphics capabilities in addition to support for web standards such as HTML5, Scalable Vector Graphics (SVG), Cascading Style Sheets 3 (CSS3) and more.
