Microsoft announced the release of the beta version of Windows Azure Drive, which allows businesses and developers to transfer applications from a localized Windows environment to the cloud environment provided by Windows Azure. This follows Microsofts release of the Windows Azure platform to general availability in 21 countries starting on Feb. 1.
