Late King of Pop Michael Jackson’s physician Dr. Conrad Murray has reportedly agreed to a ban on him administering Propofol or any other heavy sedatives to his patients.

The Texas Medical Board officially prohibited Murray from using the drug, and the restriction mirrors one of the conditions to his bail in connection with the death of Jackson.

He has also been banned from putting his patients under, though he will still be able to prescribe other medications, including pain meds, anti-anxiety medication or local or topical anaesthetics.

The license restrictions will remain in effect until the criminal case is resolved and the Board has adequate evidence to show that Dr. Murray is competent to safely practice medicine,” TMZ quoted a rep for the Texas Medical Board as saying.
