Motorola has filed a complaint with the International Trade Commission to block the U.S. sale of Research In Motion’s mobile phones on the grounds that they infringe on a number of Motorola patents. The complaint stems from a prolonged legal battle between Motorola and RIM over the renewal of a cross-licensing contract that expired in December 2007.
