Okay. So some potentially important and exciting movie news is circulating around Hollywood involving some of our favorite superheroes.

For starters, Charlize Theron has joined the short list of actresses being thought of for the role of Catwoman in the next Chris Nolan Batman movie. “I would be an idiot to not consider that part,” said Charlize. Other actresses with the potential to don the black leather bodysuit include Ashley Judd, Megan Fox, and the favorite so far, Angelina Jolie.

Actor Edward Norton, who played The Incredible Hulk in the latest version of the film, is said to be in talks to reprise his role of the angry green hero in the 2012 movie The Avengers, which will include other superheroes like Captain America, Thor, and Iron Man.

Also in her land, Nicolas Cage is officially off the Seth Rogen movie The Green Hornet, due to script conflicts. Apparently, Cage did not want to play a villain who killed people for no reason. The movie, which also stars Rogen and Cameron Diaz, has already begun filming, with Christoph Waltz (from Inglorious Basterds) replacing Cage as the villain.

In non superhero news, it’s looking like Neve Campbell will be joining the cast of Scream 4! Courtney Cox and her husband, David Arquette have already signed on, and now with Neve joining, this movie actually has a chance to recapture its original horror glory!
